1. File Security and Zero-Retention Policy
MyToolGalaxy operates under a strict Zero-Retention Policy. We do not review, open, parse, sell, or copy file assets uploaded to our processing tools. All files are hosted on isolated cloud container nodes in temporary execution directories. Every uploaded file and processed output file is permanently deleted from our servers automatically within 1 hour after conversion completes.
2. SSL Encryption in Transit
All file uploads and downloads are encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) transmission protocols (HTTPS). This prevents third-party data intercepts or eavesdropping during transit to our cloud servers.
3. Information We Collect
We do not require user accounts or registration for core tool usage. If you choose to contact us directly or subscribe to our newsletter, we collect:
- Your name (for contacts matching)
- Email address (for replies and newsletter delivery)
- IP address and user-agent string (temporarily logged for server spam and DDOS protection)
4. Cookies and Web Beacons
We use local storage cookies to persist user-selected configurations, specifically:
- Light/Dark theme choices (`mytoolgalaxy_theme`)
- Basic local UI configurations
